Since returning from India I have seen the great grey shrike at Chilham, cattle egrets at Lydd,hen harriers at Stodmarsh the juvenile drake scaup at Scotney and various other bits and pieces,so here is a mostly distant photo record of the last month.

RING TAIL HEN HARRIER MARSH HIDE STODMARSH-Flushed by a female marsh harrier it took flight and flew around but unfortunately in the shade.
FEMALE BLACKCAP -has been around my garden for a week now I am sharing my christmas apples with her.
